I'm Not Panicking

We open tonight!  And guess what?  We ran out of tickets.  Every seat will be filled for 11 performances!

You know what else is amazing?  I'm calm.  I feel good.  You know why?  Because I've watched miracles happen while we've prepared this production.  We've been blessed beyond measure, and I know we'll be blessed during our performances.  We've done all we can do, and now it's in the hands of the Lord.

I've been keeping a special journal just for "Savior of the World", where I have been writing down things I can't write on this blog.  Things that are too sacred to share casually, but rest assured that directing this show has changed my life.

Here's a few teaser pictures taken by our amazing photographer:

Here's to an amazing two weeks!

McKay's Birthday

McKay turned 4 on April 2nd.  Since it was general conference we had a party the night before since I miraculously had a night off from the show.
This boy is quite a character.  And a ham.  I love him!
We started out the day at preschool, and I brought birthday treats for his class and took pictures. His teacher Miss Felicia:

The principal Miss Patty giving him a birthday kiss.  He looks thrilled, doesn't he?

He had only 2 requests:  That we have a scooby doo cake and that we go to Chuck E Cheese.  I wasn't thrilled about either prospect, but it was his birthday right???So Aunt Anjuli whipped up some Scooby Doo invites, we got this cake,

and went to Chuck E Cheese.   What a happy boy!

My Mighty McKay is now 4.  Wow!
